Meet Dr. Eli

Dr. Eli Lizorkin-Girzhel (former last name Lizorkin-Eyzenberg)—an Israeli scholar of Russian Jewish heritage—devotes his days to mentoring pastors, priests, missionaries, and other Christian leaders around the world. God’s call on his life is to equip believers (especially Christian leaders) to encounter Scripture through its original Jewish context, culture, and language until they, too, hear the soft sound of sandaled feet.

If you are led to partner with Dr. Eli, your support will help ensure that this vital, life-changing work continues to bear fruit for generations to come.

What does all that mean for you? It means the articles here aren’t lightweight devotional thoughts or recycled sermon illustrations. They’re the kind of insights you only get when someone can open the Hebrew Bible, the Greek New Testament, the Dead Sea Scrolls, and a rabbinic commentary—all at the same time—and explain them in plain English.
