Dr. Eli Lizorkin-Eyzenberg is an academic dean at the Israel Institute of Biblical Studies and the Israel Bible Center. He holds M.Div. from Reformed Theological Seminary (2000), M.Phil. in Bible Interpretation (2007) and Ph.D. in Ancient studies from Stellenbosch University (2011). His doctoral research included studies at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem, Princeton Theological Seminary and Leiden University. He published numerous books and articles. His work includes a monograph in prestigious Corpus Scriptorum Christianorum Orientalium. He co-founded a peer-reviewed Journal of the Jesus Movement in Its Jewish Setting.
